Great Tom Tom
This is the first GPS I have own. It works great and the price was great.

Good but flawed
There doesn't appear to be any way to "fix" your camera. That is, after you've zoomed out to see things on a larger scale, seconds later the GPS will zoom back in. So whether your going along at 75mph or 10mph, youre gonna be looking at about the next 100 feet of road no matter.

If you're like me and mainly want an electronic map device that tracks your position in relation to the streets on the map then this unit is not for you. If you're ok with having to rely 100% on the voice prompts telling you where and how to go at all times this is your unit.

gets me lost often
i love my tomtom, but it has got me lost almost every time i use it, it sometimes doesnt give you enough time to lane change, and will often not tell you to take an exit - just to bear right, which could mean to go around a corner, or take an exit.
most of the time it gets you there in the end - but with detours

Unusuable
I decided to upgrade to a classic 160G. I currently have a 30G. Between the four member in my family this purchase was my 10th Ipod. I purchased it on Monday and exchanged it on Wednesday because it would skip to the next track or stop or go back to the menu and I thought it was defective. I returned the second classic on Friday. It had the same problem. I could see from looking at the Ipod classic forums that this has been a common complaint for over a year! Apple support said they were working on a fix and maybe they would have one in a couple of months! As I mentioned we own many different types of Ipods including a 80 G classic that was a Christmas gift for my husband last year that are problem free so it was very disappointing to not be able to give myself this Christmas present. I also caution everyone about updating the software which may or may not cause the same problem in your ipod. Never could get a good answer from Apple support whether they thought it was a hardware or software problem.

Nikon P80
I just got my Nikon Coolpix P80, on Dec 5, it is a Christmas present to myself. I love it!!!! I am not a pro photographer or anything like that (except when it comes to taking X-rays) but with the quality of the images that I have taken so far they are amazing. I am still learning how to use this camera, but I think with some time in reading the manual over I will get it. I had a Kodak 6.1mp before and this just blows it out of the water.
The price for this camera was unbeatable too, compared to Best Buy, Walmart, and other retailers.

Dynamite all-rounder with flexibility to grow
I can't find much to complain about with my new P80, with its enormously flexible lens, compact dimensions, low weight, and overall picture quality. Even some of things I have heard others complain about, such as the press-on lens cap and "uncomfortable" viewfinder seem like nit picking to me. Make no mistake, this is a dynamite little camera.

I'm what you might call a true "prosumer." I shoot images for myself, but also for magazine articles and other media. Even on some of those jobs I now find myself reaching for the P80 over my D40, because the wide array of manual controls allow me to create essentially the same results with a lot less hassle. Plus, the wide zoom range and host of advanced features means I can carry just one little camera to get a job done quickly and easily. I hardly every use the full "point and shoot" auto mode, preferring instead to maintain at least some control over the aperture and/or shutter speed, and the P80 makes it very easy to navigate and switch modes on the fly. The multiple flash settings are also very handy, and overall I am blown away by the results I can achieve. Much better image quality and much more "DSLR-like" results than I ever expected.

The only two things I wish it had are a manual zoom ring that I could use with my hand (although the motorized zoom has good precision and speed) and a threaded lens barrel to take filters and such. But these are nothing that would keep me from recommending the camera to virtually anyone.

I never looked at super zooms before, sticking pretty staunchly to the idea of DLSRs, but then I heard that an increasing number of top-level photojournalists are using them because of their incredible flexibility. And now I see why. The P80 is a fantastic little camera. If you're a bad photographer, it will help you take better pictures, and if you're a good photographer you can use it pretty much as you would a DSLR, generating excellent and creative results with very little expense or hassle.

I highly recommend the Nikon P80. Heck, I wouldn't even change the lens cap.

Good camera,
I love my camera, there are so many setting that I have not let my manual get to far away from me yet. I am enjoying it greatly and as I learn to used the different setting I am getting great pictures!!

Great 8MP digital camera for reasonable price
It's simple to use and takes a great quality photo. The only difference between this one and it's newst, more expensive model is the size...honestly I like being able to have more of a grip on my camera like this on provides. Save yourself some money and get this model unless you really really want a small camera. The size of the screen is wonderful and it takes pictures fast. I would recommend this camera to anyone of any age, everyone can figure it out"

Great Camera, Low Quality
I have had many Nikon SLR's over the years and have always found them to be made well and a great qualty product. Like most reveiewers, I have have found the CoolPix L18 to be a great point and shoot camera, Unfortunately, the quality of this one does not hold up to my view of Nikon cameras. The Display started to act flakey (occaisional flicker) just after a few months of use and eventually quit all together. Like other reviewers with nikon serveice issues, Nikon was reluctant to stand behind its product even thow obviously defective, I will consider a different brand with better customer service for my next purchase. Takes great pictures, low quality componenets...

Good Suction and Durable If Properly Maintained

There have been some complaints about Amazon engaging in bait and switch. Admittedly, I ordered the unit through this page and I DID get the charging stand, but Amazon seems to have changed the model to one without a charging stand. To clear this up, the model currently offered for sale is SV736, and it does NOT come with a charging stand. If you want a charging stand, the model to get is SV736N.

With that out of the way, let's proceed:

Cleaning Power
--------------
The suction is about as strong as a mid-range corded vacuum cleaner - plenty strong for a handheld vacuum cleaner. It's able to maintain maximum suction for about 13 minutes, after which its power starts to falter and the suction gradually drops. The usable suction it puts out lasts about 20 minutes tops. Still, it's plenty of time to vacuum out the interior of your car, clean up a small mess, or do some spot cleaning.

Even though the vacuum is being touted as having "Twister Cyclonic Technology", which supposedly helps to maintain suction longer, it is important that the dirt receptacle be emptied when it gets about half full, otherwise the suction will be significantly reduced.

The motorized brush attachment is excellent for extracting dirt and pet hair embedded in the carpet. The downside is when the attachment is on, the battery gets drained more quickly.

Maintenance

- Dirt Collection Receptacle
The frosted see-through dirt collection receptacle lets you know how much dirt has been collected. Once full, the receptacle can be easily removed and emptied.

The filter is washable and is made of a durable material that will stand up to repeated washings.

- NiCd (Nickel Cadmium) Rechargeable Battery
There are a lot of complaints the battery capacity of the Shark diminishes over time. I suspect the diminished battery capacity that many people encounter is due to the so-called "memory effect" on the Shark's NiCd (Nickel Cadmium) battery.

"Memory effect" is a phenomenon that results when a battery is repeatedly charged BEFORE it is FULLY discharged. The result is the battery capacity diminishes because it "forgets" that it can be discharged all the way, hence the term "memory effect."

The proper way to care for a NiCd battery is to fully discharge it ("deep discharging") before fully charging it to avoid "memory effect". Diminished battery capacity due to memory effect may be reversed by putting the battery through repeated deep discharge and full recharge cycles.

After the vacuum cleaner is past putting out any useful suction power, let its battery deplete completely before charging it back up. I've had the Shark for about three years and never had a problem with diminished battery capacity.

CAUTION: The above only applies to NiCd batteries. Do not confuse NiCd batteries with rechargeable NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) or lithium batteries. NiMH batteries are reportedly less prone to memory effect and lithium batteries absolutely do NOT suffer from memory effect. Deep discharging NimH and ESPECIALLY lithium batteries may actually damage them.

Conclusion
----------
The Shark is a top-notch handheld vacuum cleaner that provides plenty of suction. If you're careful to observe proper battery maintenance, it should provide years of trouble-free service.

Great features! poor battery life........
Purchased the Shark SV736 after noting it had rotating beater brush. I felt it was a nice feature. The vac is 15.6 volts which is good power in a hand vac. SV746 has great suction with an easy empty dust cup. The beater brush is awesome in picking up crumbs and small bits on carpet. Now for the bad.... After eleven months, the battery died after I accidently overcharged it for 18 hours. I studied the options and noted reviews of this product and problems with the battry in this and other forums. I found the Shark for a good price and bought the newer version (lime green) at WALMART. I purchased it because no other hand vacuum had so many features: power, crevice tool, dust brush, rotater brush......I noted one reviewers assessment the vacuum performs best if charged and discharged three times at precisely the recommended charge time by Shark. I did so. It worked good for a week then promptly lost suction. This is a function of the battery charging system and the utilization of primitive and prehistoric Chinese engineering. I am convinced Shark has no R&D budget to solve this problem. If solved the Shark would be awesome indeed! I took my Shark back to Walmart and got a refund. I have purchased the Eureka 96D vacuum which I so far love. The Eureka comes with a TWO batteries and a charging dock. I will monitor my Eureka for battery performance and report back after the year. WHAT THIS WORLD NEEDS IS A GOOD DEPENDABLE HAND VAC!!!.

works as promised
This is a powerful vac that performs as advertised. It's very convenient for picking up small messses here and there, but I have also used it to vacuum my car. Much easier than pulling out the full sized vac.

My only complaint is that it does not have a wall mount. Furthermore, its round body prevents the unit from sitting nicely in a charging position - it rolls over onto its side.

You Can't Beat a Classic!
After 3 years of constant use the hard drive in my 80Gb Classic finally died. I was just looking for a replacement but ended up with a lot more. The 6th generation 120Gb I picked up in a hurry came with a lot of nice little improvements. More power and some nice improvements to the software have made me a happy man!

Perfect for Music Lovers!
The 120 GB is perfect for someone like me who is in LOVE with music (and other media). It can hold your entire media library and then some. I contemplated getting a Touch or switching my Blackberry and my 8 GB iPod for an iPhone, but iPhone is missing some features that are important to me and both iPhone and Touch don't have enough room for all my music. The 6th Generation is way more user friendly then older models!

Not my first Ipod. I previously had a 5th gen video 30 gig but lost it. I have had this for a month now and it doesnt leave my side. I have it in the gym, in my car, and in my Ipod player at home. It is great. no problems with it whatsoever
